Webster Tire & Auto Service grew out of Teutopolis Auto Sales, which opened in 2006. As Teutopolis Auto Sales grew, the need for more space became crucial. We moved to our current expanded location in 2010 as a result. With the number of cars we were selling, we hired a full-time auto repair mechanic to help us get things done. It was only a matter of days before the public realized what a great thing we had going, and Webster Tire & Auto Service was born.

At Webster Tire & Auto Service, we specialize in helping our customers with all of their automotive needs, backed by owner Phil Webster’s 20 years of hands-on mechanical experience. We currently have four full-time auto mechanics, two detail men, two service writers, and two sales people. There is no way we could do what happens around here without all of these fantastic people. We work as a team and at the end of each day we are reminded of how much of a blessing our staff truly is.

About the Owner

Webster Tire & Auto owner Phil Webster grew up the youngest in a large family on a small farm. With five older brothers and six older sisters, there wasn’t a time when he wasn’t helping someone with something mechanical. When it was time for him to go to work, he always gravitated toward garages. Phil went on to business school and now loves doing work that combines his business background and love of fixing cars.

Phil started selling cars as a hobby in 2006 and expanded into auto service in 2010 with the opening of Webster Tire & Auto Service. They say you never work a day in your life if you love what you do. Phil is happy to say he loves going to work every day. The relationships he’s fostered with his staff and customers are priceless. He considers it a blessing to provide the type of service vehicle owners need and appreciate.

Phil and his wife, Shannon, have two beautiful daughters, Sidney and Becca. His girls have had the opportunity to grow up around cars and are learning what the business is all about. When you stop by and see us, you just might see one of them behind the counter.

  • Phil Webster - Owner of Webster Tire And Auto Service

    Phil Webster – Owner

    Phil is the “Jack of All Trades” around here. He has a full load of responsibilities keeping the car lot full of excellent quality vehicles, but he’s good to have around in a pinch. He can go on parts runs, do an oil change, plug a tire, and negotiate a great discount with our vendors, just not at the same. He loves being around cars and even getting his hands dirty, but with the hectic demands of being an owner, it doesn’t happen as often as he would like.

  • Tayler Polk – Auto Sales

    Tayler Polk – General Manager

    Tayler has been with the company since 2013, but don't let that fool you; he knows the industry like the back of his hand! Tayler started as an auto sales team member and has since been promoted to general manager. On the sales side, Tayler knows his inventory and the history on each of the vehicles. He's efficient in securing financing and finding those elusive special orders you've been hunting for. On the service side, he oversees the service advisors and makes sure your repairs get done quickly, efficiently, and that you're getting a great deal! He's second to Phil on being the "Jack of all Trades". Whether it be buying a "new to you" vehicle or needing repairs done on your current vehicle, Tayler can help.   • Barb Case – General Manager

    Barb Case – Marketing/Customer Service

    You can find Barb doing just about anything at Webster Tire and Auto, but her focus is on Marketing and Customer service. Barb has been with the company since 2008 and has done just about every job in the building! All those years of hard work really shows through in her expertise and knowledge for vehicle repairs and maintenance. If you need assistance with financing for a large repair, have questions regarding warranties for parts, or just want to stop in and say hello to this chatty Kathy, Barb is your gal! Barb and her husband, Steve, reside in Edgewood where you can normally find them chasing around their adorable three grandsons.

  • Tyler Shoemaker – Technician

    Tyler Shoemaker-Service Advisor

    Tyler comes to us with a TON of sales experience! He knows how to take care of his customers and make sure they leave here feeling confident in their repairs. He'll walk you through the details to any repair that needs done and provide you with a free inspection report! He can offer you 60 days same as cash, if needed, and will even give you a courtesy call after your repair is done to make sure all is well. Tyler cares about his customers and that shows through every day. Tyler and his fiancé, Chelsi, reside in Heartville with their three children; Mally, Hunter, and Thea.

  • Brian Schmidt – Technician

    Brian Schmidt – Technician

    Brian has been with us since we moved to the new building. He is a technician specializing in alignment, tires and preventative maintenance. He is hardworking, loyal, and trustworthy—qualities we admire dearly. Brian is typically the first person to see your vehicle when it arrives here at Webster Tire & Auto. Chances are he’s the one picking it up and delivering it back to your doorstep too. He’s as good on a tractor as he is with a wrench, and that makes him invaluable around here.

  • Shawn Lacy – Technician

    Shawn Lacy – Technician

    Shawn has been with the Webster Tire and Auto family for over a year now and we don't think we'll ever give him up! Shawn graduated from Neoga High School and Lake Land College Automotive Program. He is an ASE Master Tech and specializes in diagnostics, which is a huge value to our customers. Shawn has proven to be a leader on the shop floor and continues to provide excellent repairs to our customers. Shawn and his wife, Katie, live in Heartville with their son Logan.

  • Don Cisco – Service Manager

    Jessica Polk

    Jessica has been with us since 2016 and is married to our very own Tayler! From accounts payable to payroll to keeping track of Phil, she can do it all. Jessica is responsible for keeping things operational around here and managing things like data analysis. You usually won't catch a glimpse of her if you stop by, she's stuck back in an office working away! If she's not working, you can usually find her with her Daughter Kinze, age 6, at gymnastics practice or with her son Dax, age 1, making him giggle and give lots of high fives!

  • Don Cisco – Service Manager

    Trenton Miller

    Trent comes from a long line of technicians. It runs in his family and in his blood. Trent graduated from Olney Central College with a degree in Auto Service Technology and is also ASE certified. Trent continues to gain more knowledge and experience each day and has become a valuable member to our team. Besides fixing cars, he loves four wheeling and hanging out with his Dad. Trent resides in Effingham.
